June Highlights

Okay, hold your horses 2014, you are going by way too fast! I can't believe we're in July already! I'm putting it down to me being so busy for the majority of the year so far with uni work and everything, but I feel like I blinked and all this time went by. June has been a really good month though - apart from being my first whole month of freedom from university, lots of other exciting things happened too.

○ Going to Alton Towers and (finally!) conquering my fear of upside down rollercoasters. It was a really great day out with my family and Paul, even if it did pour it down for most of the day and we got absolutely drenched!

○ Staying overnight in Birmingham at my friend Sandy's house, I had a really lovely time catching up with her and baby Alex and Louisa who came to stay too! We went to the Sealife centre and to West Midlands Safari Park. WMSP had a baby elephant! The weather was beautiful too.

○ Visiting the Coronation Street Tour - I'm a huge Corrie fan so I absolutely loved it!

○ Finding out I've got a 2:1 in my degree!

○ Winning first prize in the pub quiz and the free cake prize for the best team name, two weeks in a row!

I can't wait to see what July will bring - graduation is on my calendar amongst other things, so hopefully it will be another good one!

  1. Congratulations on your results!

Really cool to hear you enjoyed the Corrie tour! I actually run a podcast about Corrie with my husband, you should check us out some time! We're at conversationstreet.podbean.com!

  2. Two quiz (& cake) wins in a row is definitely an achievement! X

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. I read and appreciate every single one!
